Cornwall Motor Speedway Set for Action-Packed Alexandria Home Hardware Night This Sunday

Cornwall, ON – Thursday, May 22, 2025 – Martin Belanger – Racing returns in full force to Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday evening, with Alexandria Home Hardware Night promising an action-packed lineup featuring six classes, a special 30-lap Pro-Stock showdown, and the 2025 season debut of the Eastern Ontario Vintage Club.

The spotlight will shine on the Alexandria Home Hardware Pro-Stock Division, where fans can expect fierce competition in a special 30-lap feature. Thanks to the generous support of Ron Aubin, owner of Alexandria Home Hardware, $3,000 in bonus money has been added to the purse, drawing top talent from across the region. This marquee event offers a thrilling preview of upcoming high-profile races set to roll into town this summer.

Adding to the excitement, the Eastern Ontario Vintage Club makes its first appearance of the season at Cornwall. Known for their respectful and clean racing, the club brings two divisions together in one feature, typically fielding nearly 20 classic race cars in a fan-favourite spectacle.

Looking ahead, fans won’t want to miss the Cornwall DIRT Raceway Park season kickoff on Tuesday evening with the Brian Mulligan Memorial. Featuring 7 karting divisions and more than 50 young racers, this event is a must-see for those eager to catch the sport’s rising stars. Admission is just $10, with racing starting at 6:30 PM at the kart track located in Turn 4.
