IMCA CALIFORNIA CLASH OPENS WITH BAKERSFIELD SPEEDWAY AT KERN RACEWAY THURSDAY NIGHT
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (May 21, 2025) – The 2025 Central California IMCA Clash kicks off Thursday night May 22nd at the all-new Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. The four round speedweek across California sees IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, and H&S Body Works Hobby Stocks competing for a big purse and golden state bragging rights. General Admission tickets in the new grandstands are on sale now at www.BakersfieldSpeedway.com or on TheFOAT. Adult general admission tickets are just $18 with kids ages 6-12 admitted for just $10 and kids five and under are free! Parking is free of charge. Grandstands open at 4pm with opening ceremonies at 6pm. Tickets will also be available at the gate.
Drivers will be racing for a $13,500 purse nightly at each round of the Clash. Following Bakersfield Speedway on Thursday night, the series moves west to Santa Maria Raceway on Friday night. Saturday’s action will be at Merced Speedway before activities conclude Sunday at Petaluma Speedway. Hobby Stocks will be open to cars legal at any of the four participating speedways.
IMCA TV will present the series points funds including $500 to each champion.
Main events pay $1200 to win for the IMCA Modifieds, $1000 to win each for the IMCA Sport Mods and IMCA Stock Cars, and $800 to win for both the Hobby Stocks.
2024 Bakersfield Speedway champion Gavyn Manning leads the IMCA Modifieds into Thursday’s non-points action. Other Bakersfield Speedway points leaders include Tate Loftis in the IMCA Sport Mods, Raymond Noland of Porterville in the IMCA Stock Cars, and Nicholas Johnson in the H&S Body Works Hobby Stocks.
