Dragon Racing Unveils New Ferrari 296 GT3s

Dubai Autodrome-based GT team Dragon Racing held a spectacular 10th-anniversary celebration last night featuring friends of the team past and present.

Amongst the guests were past star drivers Matt Griffin, Rob Barff, Goncalo Gomes and Jordan Grogor.

All of the above though would agree that the real stars of the show were the team’s newly-delivered Ferrari 296 GT3s, which were on display at the function.

The early competition for the cars includes the Gulf 12 Hours, Dubai 24 Hours and February’s trio of UAE-based Asian Le Mans Series races.

Ahead of that, the team has three days of exclusive testing at Dubai Autodrome to prepare for its winter programme.

Ahead of that the team’s hand-picked team of engineers and mechanics, under the guidance of team principal Brad Fincham, are gathering together with nominated test driver Giacomo Altoe.

Drivers for the winter programme are set to be announced shortly with Dragon confirming that there are still some opportunities available to join its second car.
