Mann Filter AMG Fastest in Night Qualifying

0 20

With the live timing not showing sufficient detail to ascertain with any certainty the cars that are currently provisionally in Top Qualifying position in the P9 class we can simply report this evening both the fastest ACTUAL (rather than theoretical laps in the class – and the current provisional polesetters in the other classes.

Fastest overall for the night was the #48 Mann Filter AMG GT3 – Lance David Arnold banging in an 8:24.801 – the car though had a theoretical best some 5 seconds quicker.

The #14 Car Collection Audi (Rene Rast) was second quickest on the night – and we believe second quickest too in theoretical lap time – just a smidge over 8:20.

Both of the top cars in the order are in the mix for the remaining Qualifying slots for tomorrow evening’s shootout.

As too is the car that finished third fastest of the night, this time a Pro-Am car, the #6 Black Falcon AMG – an 8:25.345, with a theoretical best of 8:23.5 – Yelmer Buurman doing the job.

The potential to be misled by the fastest ACTUAL times though is underlined by what we believe to be the fastest theoretical time in the Pro-AM class – which came from the #17 GetSpeed AMG – Fabian Schiller delivering an 8:22.8 – but with the car completing a full single lap only 14th fastest!

In the classes things are rather more clear with the following cars on provisional pole positions:
