Details of the Day
- Kurt Busch scored stage points in the first two stages tonight, with his finish he moved up one position to seventh in the series standings
- Busch ran all 400 laps in the top-15 tonight and was never lower than 14th during green-flag pit stop cycle and had an average running position of 7.5
- The caution flag was shown five times for a total of 41laps
- The lead changed eight times among five drivers
Kurt Busch, No. 1 Global Poker Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 – “We just really struggled through the whole race with finding grip to be able to get off the corners with the Global Poker Camaro. We came close to another top-10, but I just couldn’t hold on in the closing laps. There were somethings that I probably should have recognized during Friday’s practice that could have helped, but we didn’t make the right adjustments.
