[Men's Basketball] GC Tigers show grit in Top 10 win

Georgetown College men's basketball started Mid-South Conference action hosting No. 7 Campbellsville University. The No. 9 Tigers were playing shorthanded – just eight players dressed and only seven of those played (two of which had the flu). GC gritted it out, rallying from 10 down with less than 11 minutes left and nine with 5:31 showing for a 69-67 victory to improve to 15-1 overall and 1-0 in league play. CU falls to 14-2 and 0-1.

Brodricks Jones came up huge with a pair of threes (2:03 and 1:28) to tie the game a 65. Hagen Tyler gave the visitors its final lead with two free throws with 57 seconds left. Chris Coffey rattled the rim with a dunk for the tie, but missed the and one.
