Dealer dash cam add-on or DIY?
Im picking up a 2022 Camry this week and the dealer is pushing a dash cam add-on for $599 installed. Worth it, or should I just buy my own and have a shop hardwire it? I want something that looks factory so there arent wires hanging or blocked sensors. I was looking at an OEM-style option like Mangoal
that replaces the mirror shroud. Anyone run one of these or have a cleaner/cheaper route? What did you pay for install, and any gotchas with warranties or trade-in?
