Italian GP: Encouraging Friday for Williams Racing

The opening Friday of practice for the 2024 Italian GP was a day from which the Williams Racing Team could take encouragement from despite the fact that there is still work to be done. For Alex Albon he would finish his day in 13th describing his day as strong despite not been entirely happy with his soft run pace. For Franco Colapinto, who was brought in to replace Logan Sargeant, his day was all about learning. He would finish 17th close behind his team-mate. For both drivers still a lot of work to do overnight but it was a great start to their Monza weekends.
