William Byron captured the pole for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Pocono 400 race with a lap of 51.875 seconds, 173.494 mph in his No. 24 Hendrick Autoguard Camaro ZL1. It marked the third pole and eighth top-10 start in the 2019 season for Byron, and his first at Pocono Raceway, known as the ‘Tricky Triangle’.
