[Baseball] Three Tigers honored as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Wednesday that 383 men's baseball student-athletes have been named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Baseball Scholar-Athletes. William Woods (Mo.) leads the way with 11 individuals.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
Olivet Nazarene University had three honored this year, all for the first time in his career. Juniors Nick Campe (JR/Manteno, Ill.), Cameron Craver (SO/Palatine, Ill.) and Jonathan Hentschel (JR/Midland, Mich.) were all honored.
