While I hold my nose thinking about the Sacto A’s or the Vegas A’s I have fond memories of the Oakland A’s, and the Coliseum. I watched Nolan Ryan’s last game in Oakland from the 3rd base upper deck eating Doug’s bbq, skipping work to try and watch Ricky break the record, just skipping work to catch a random day game, after the playoff loss in 12 soaking in the thunder from the fans who celebrated THEIR TEAM as if the had won the WS, taking it to the Giants after earthquake, seeing future hall of famers play on our field whether their unis said Athletics, New York, or Boston plus many more.
