[General Athletics] ALBRIGHT AND WILSON NAMED TO WBCA ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

It was announced earlier this morning (Mach 21st, 2022) that Bailey Albright and Taya Wilson were named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-American Teams. This was Albright's second time on the WBCA All-American team after being selected in the 2020-2021 season. Albright had a great senior campaign that saw her join the 1,500 point club and move into 4th all-time for career assists at Sterling College with 391. She averaged 19.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.9 steals per game this season.

This is Wilson's first time being honored as a WBCA Honorable Mention All-American. Wilson joined the 1,000 point club this year and her 347 rebounds this season moved her into 3rd place all-time in total rebounds at Sterling College with 845. Wilson just missed averaging a double-double with 15.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.1 steals per contest this year.
