Spring 2020 Game Thread #6: Diamondbacks at Athletics

It’s the A’s against the Diamondbacks at Hohokam. First pitch is at 12:05.

The entirety of the A’s (most likely) starting infield is in action today, Tony Kemp at 2nd base. Two thirds of the probably starting outfield is in action today as well, with Mark Canha and Ramon Laureano manning right and center field, and Seth Brown suiting up in left. The backup catcher competition continues with Jonah Heim behind the plate and Austin Allen DHing.

Frankie Montas is making his second appearance of the spring and will be pitching just one inning today, due to the winter ball he played this offseason. Arizona will be starting Luke Weaver.
