[Baseball] Five Tigers earn Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors; three for second time

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced that 411 baseball student-athletes have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Olivet Nazarene University had five honored this year, three for the second time in his career. Seniors Nick Campe (SR/Manteno, Ill.), Cameron Craver (JR/Palatine, Ill.) and Jonathan Hentschel (SR/Midland, Mich.) were all named to the list in consecutive years. Ben DeYoung (JR/Thornton, Ill.) and Tanner McLain (SR/Gifford, Ill.) were honored for the first time.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
