Our second introduction of the 2018 class Curtis Lewis.

Curtis Lewis played for the Trevecca Trojans men's basketball team four seasons beginning with the 2000-2001 season and culminating with his historic 2003-2004 senior season.

Lewis totaled 1,039 career points in his NAIA All-American career. The scholar-athlete added first-team TranSouth Athletic Conference honors to his honorable mention All-American selection in 2004.

As a senior, he averaged 17.5 points per game (PPG) while shooting 50% from the field, 45.4% from three-point range, and 84% from the foul line. He set a Trevecca season record as a senior with 99 made three-point field goals. Until 2017 he shared the record for most made three-pointers in a game with eight. When he graduated in 2004, he owned the Trevecca season (48.3%) and career (45.4%) three-point field goal percentage record.

In the last nine regular season games of his career, all conference games, Lewis averaged 25.5 PPG (204) and hit 61.2% (60-98) from the field, 62.3% (38-61) from three-point range, and 86.8% from the foul line. The team produced a 7-2 record in the stretch after losing the previous five.

In the last five games of the run, all wins, he averaged 26 PPG and shot 70.4% (38-54) from the field, 67.6% (23-34) from three-point range, and 94.3% (33-35) from the foul line. Even more impressive is those numbers were put up against teams that had faced him already and knew what to expect.

Following his Trevecca playing career, Lewis earned a master's degree while serving as the graduate assistant for the men's basketball team. After earning his second degree, Lewis played with the Nashville Broncos of the ABA for former Vanderbilt coach and star Jan Van Breda Kolff.  Lewis was named the ABA Rookie of the Year while making the ABA All-Star team and won the three-point contest at the all-star game.
