[Women's Basketball] Point Rallies in Second Half and Defeats Brenau, 68-64; Skyhawks in Third Place

WEST POINT, GA: Point University (18-8; 15-6 AAC) moved into third place from fourth place with a 68-64 Appalachian Athletics Conference women's basketball victory over fifth-place Brenau University (18-7; 13-7 AAC), Wednesday, Feb. 7, in West Point Park Gym.  The Skyhawks trailed by 10 points in each of the first two quarters but outscored the Golden Tigers, 19-9, in the third quarter and 18-16 in the fourth period to erase a 39-31 halftime deficit.

Point has won 16 of its last 21 games and snapped Brenau's six-game winning streak.  Point also gained a measure of revenge on Brenau, which edged Point, 58-57, on Jan. 2.
