Razorback Trio Set for This Week’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur
AUGUSTA, Ga. – Arkansas women’s golfers Sara Brentcheneff, Maria José Marin and Reagan Zibilski will compete among the world’s best at this week’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur in Augusta, Georgia.
Beginning the week before the 90th Masters Tournament, the international field will compete across 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut to 30 players and ties taking place after 36 holes. The first two rounds will take place on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2. The entire field will then play Augusta National for an official practice round on Friday, April 3. The final round will take place at Augusta National on Saturday, April 4 with the 30 players who made the cut.
Brentcheneff and Zibilski will make their ANWA debuts while José Marin will make her fourth appearance when the first round commences on Wednesday morning. José Marin will tee off at 7:12 a.m. CT, followed by Brentcheneff at 8:09 a.m. and Zibilski at 9:07 a.m. Thursday’s second round begins at 7:00 a.m. with Zibilski, then Brentcheneff at 7:58 a.m. and Marin at 8:55 a.m. All times central.
