Women’s Sports Student-Athletes to Host National Girls and Women’s in Sports Day Clinic
The University of Arkansas women’s sports student-athletes will celebrate National Girls and Women’s in Sports Day by hosting a free youth sports clinic on Sunday, March 1, prior to the Razorbacks’ women’s basketball game against Auburn.
This free clinic is open to girls ages 5–12 and will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Basketball Performance Center, located directly across the street from Bud Walton Arena.
Student-athletes from multiple Arkansas women’s sports programs will lead age-appropriate mini clinics ahead of tipoff. Registered participants will receive a promotional code for $5 tickets to the Arkansas vs. Auburn women’s basketball game, scheduled for 1:00 p.m., and will be recognized during the game.
Clinic Details
- Check-in: 11:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. at the Basketball Performance Center, across from the main entrance of Bud Walton Arena
- Eligibility: Free for girls ages 5–12
- Attire: No equipment required; participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers
- Format: Participants will be grouped by age
- Parking: Free parking available in Lots 320–322, located off MLK Boulevard and Razorback Road
- Policies: The clear bag policy will be enforced for both the clinic and the game
