Andrews and Toure on National HS Player of the Year Watch List
FAYETTEVILLE – Razorback signees JJ Andrews and Abdou Toure are two of 50 players named to the 2025-26 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Boys High School Player of the Year Watch List, the Atlanta Tipoff Club has announced.
Andrews (Little Rock Christian Academy) is the consensus top player in Arkansas and top-15 player in the country. He was tabbed third team 2025-26 MaxPreps preseason All-America and listed by the website as the #3 small forward in the country. Last season, Andrews was the 2024-25 Gatorade Arkansas Boys Basketball Player of the Year as well as the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Arkansas Preps Boys Player of the Year.
Toure (Notre Dame HS / West Haven, Conn.) – a top 30 national prospect – is the two-time Connecticut MaxPreps Player of the Year (2024 and 2025 and the two-time CTInsiider.com Player of the Year. Toure was selected the 2024-25 Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year and has helped Notre Dame compile a 52-2 record en route to back-to-back state championships.
