Razorbacks Compete in the PTT 25K Fayetteville

Multiple Razorbacks will compete at home this week as Billingsley Tennis Center is the site of the UTR PTT 25K Fayetteville. Match play will begin on Nov. 3 and continue through Nov. 9.

Morgan McCarthy, Arina Babenko, and Alexandra Panagiotidou will start things off and take the court at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Jimena Gomez Alonso and Carolina Gomez Alonso are also slated to compete later in the day.

The 20-person main draw will consist of four groups of five players each. The round-robin group stages will run from Monday to Friday. All matches will be best of three tie-break sets with regular scoring. The main draw will consist of 16 direct acceptances and four wild cards.

The playoff rounds will be single elimination and consist of five draws of four players, depending on the player’s group placement and will take place Saturday and Sunday. All matches will be best of three tie-break sets with regular scoring.
