Schutte wins The Ally, Arkansas Finishes Runner-Up
WEST POINT, Miss. – Junior Abbey Schutte picked up her first career tournament win after shooting a 9-under 207 at The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club, the final tournament of the fall season.
Florida won the team title and set the tournament’s 54-hole record with a 26-under 838. Arkansas finished second at 21-under. Both teams led throughout the third round, but a 3-over finish for the Hogs and a 3-under finish for the Gators on the final four holes gave Florida its second win of the season and third straight win at The Ally.
Senior Reagan Zibilski birdied five of her first nine holes and had a three-shot lead down the stretch, but Schutte cut her lead to one with a pair of birdies on Nos. 14 and 15. Zibilski teed off on 18 with a one-shot lead but double bogeyed, her only of the tournament, to fall to 8-under. Schutte was under par in all three rounds and saved her best for last with a 4-under 68 in the final 18.
Junior Maria José Marin claimed third place at 6-under after shooting a 71 on Wednesday. Swetha Sathish (T37, +6) and Clarisa Temelo (T44, +9) shot over par on the final day. Individual Anna Kate Nichols earned a top 15 finish and shot even par for the week.
Arkansas will return to the course in February of 2026 at the Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
