Alan from Ballard at Men’s Regional Championships
As you hopefully already saw, our Ballard Boys Team recently competed in State Championships – the end of the season for all but one: Level 5 Alan, who made it to Regionals! He and Coach Dalai headed to Minnesota for the competition in early April.
Coach Dalai said: “Our very last meet of the season was regional championships. Alan qualified from state and was able to compete in Minnesota alongside some of the the best level 5s in our region, which is made up of 12 states. Alan exceeded all expectations and performed this best routines of the season. He received the gold medal on vault and bronze medal on pommel horse as well as high bar. Overall, he came in 5th place. This is a great achievement and testament to all his hard work. His teammates, parents, and coaches are beyond proud.
And with that, this is the close of the season for the boys team. We will be back stronger next year!”
YES ALAN we are beyond proud of you!! You represent the best of SGA and we are in awe of all you accomplished this year. The sky is the limit, you rock!
To all the Boys Team athletes, coaches and parents, thanks for an incredible year – what a special team this was, we are so, so lucky to have you all!
