Aloy racked up an SEC-leading 12 hits and totaled 25 bases during the week, belting a pair of home runs, his first career multi-homer game, in the series opener against Portland and logging consecutive four-RBI efforts in each of the first two games of the weekend series sweep of the Pilots.

Co-Player of the Week

Brent Iredale made history at the plate during the Razorbacks’ 5-0 week, slashing .500/.600/1.500 with two doubles, four home runs, and 14 RBI, including an eight-RBI game in the series opener against Portland. He became the first Razorback since 1999 to record eight RBI in a game, and his 11 total RBI in the series sweep of the Pilots mark the most by a Razorback in a three-game series in the Dave Van Horn era (2003-pres.). Iredale, who logged two multi-hit games and three multi-RBI performances during Arkansas’ undefeated week, recorded his second multi-homer game of the season in the series opener against Portland.

Zach Root logged his first quality start of the season and recorded his second double-digit strikeout performance of the year in the Hogs’ series-clinching win against Portland. The left-hander matched his career high with 10 strikeouts over six shutout innings against the Pilots, allowing just three hits and issuing one walk to improve to 2-0. Root, who has struck out eight or more batters in all four of his starts on the mound this season, has fanned a team-leading 36 batters in a team-high 21.1 innings of work this year.

The hard-throwing right-hander struck out one in his inning of work against the Pilots. Wiggins’ team-leading three saves are tied with LSU’s Casan Evans (3) for the most by a freshman pitcher in the SEC this season.
