10 Razorbacks Set for NCAA Events

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Both the Arkansas swim and dive squads will continue their postseason runs in Minneapolis and Knoxville, respectively, for NCAA Zone Diving and the NCAA Swimming Championships.

Divers Regan Caufield, Grace Walker, and Malea Martinez will compete at NCAA Zones from Tuesday to Thursday, March 7 to 9. Walker and Caufield qualified in the one-meter, three-meter, and platform events, and freshman Martinez will join them in the one- and three-meter.

The Razorbacks had six swimmers and an alternate qualify for individual NCAA events, along with bids for the 200- and 400-freestyle relay and 200- and 400-medley relay teams. Action for the swimmers kicks off on Wednesday, March 15 and runs through Saturday, March 18.

NCAA Swim Qualifiers:

  • Andrea Sansores: 50-freestyle, 100-butterfly, 100-backstroke
  • Alessia Ferraguti: 100-breaststroke, 200-breaststroke
  • Bella Cothern: Relay alternate
  • Betsy Wizard: 200-butterfly
  • Kobie Melton: 100-backstroke
  • Luciana Thomas: 200-butterfly
  • Vanessa Herrmann: 100-breaststoke
