#ProHogs in the NFL – Week 7 Report
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here is a look at how the 13 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 7 of the NFL season.
BEST OF WEEK 7
Kamren Curl, S, Washington Football Team
Curl played in a season-high 49 snaps and made three solo tackles as Washington snapped a six-game losing skid by defeating Dallas, 25-3. Washington held the Cowboys to a season-low 142 net yards and surrendered only three points for the first time in series history, which began in 1960. The rookie led Washington with a career-high PFF pass rush grade of 82.3. Curl’s 17 tackles this season is tied for third league-wide among rookie safeties.
Trey Flowers, DE, Detroit Lions
Recovering a crucial fourth quarter fumble, Flowers aided Detroit to a 23-22 victory over Atlanta. With 5:39 left to go in the final quarter, Flowers scooped up a fumble after Falcons QB Matt Ryan was stripped by Detroit DE Romeo Okwara. The Lions made a field goal on the subsequent drive to take a 16-14 lead and eventually won 23-22 behind a 75-yard touchdown drive that left zeros on the clock. He also broke up his first pass of the season and improved his season PFF defensive grade to 84.1, which ranks seventh among NFL EDGE rushers.
