News and upcoming events for Victoria Bowmen with input from the Annual General Meeting September 23:
| Indoor Shooting is on! Fall is here and we’re happy to say that our indoor shooting season at Saanich Commonwealth Place has begun! As a reminder, our club shooting times are Sundays 2pm–4pm, and Thursday evenings 7:40pm–9:40pm. There will be indoor shooting this Thursday, September 30th (Truth and Reconciliation Day). Shooting times for the remainder of the year are now listed on our calendar at: Club Shooting Times – Victoria Bowmen Archery Club. Our Junior Olympic Program has also started up again, with new Director Edward Minnie at the helm. JOP shooting runs Sundays 1pm–2pm for Junior club members, and equipment is supplied. We ask that everyone please respect all COVID protocols: all those attending indoor shoots must sign in when they arrive at the gym (for contact tracing), use hand sanitizer and wear a mask except when shooting. Masks must also be worn in all common areas at the facility (washrooms etc.). |
| 2021 AGM Thank you to all who attended our 2021 AGM on September 23. The club has adopted a new set of Bylaws that can be reviewed at: Club Constitution & Bylaws – Victoria Bowmen Archery Club. And thank you to those who have volunteered to serve on the Board of Directors for the coming year. The meeting minutes will be posted on our website soon. |
