Alpine Intro to Level I Webinar
Are you planning to take the Alpine Level I Assessment this winter? Perhaps you're training instructors who are working toward their Alpine Level I? With the introduction of the new National Standards, the Learning Connection Model, and the Unified Assessment Form, the Level I Assessment has evolved significantly. Specific training will help you or your instructors to be successful. We are offering an Alpine Intro to Level I Webinar. This 1.5 – 2 hour webinar is just the thing you’ll need to help you prepare for the assessment. You’ll go over the format, review the Unified Assessment Form and the Performance Guide, get an introduction to the Learning Connection Model and the Skiing, Teaching and People Skills. Additionally, you will talk through some samples of the skiing activities in which you will be assessed and have plenty of time to ask questions. Give yourself the best chance for success. Analyzing Cross Country World Cup Movements
Classic/Skate technique will be discussed through the XC Fundamentals during the phases of the skate/stride in accordance with our movement analysis XC template. We will review recreational skiers and list commonalities at Level II/III. Then we will analyze videos of World Cup skiers and list their commonalities. We can then explore the differences and create drills/activities progressions to incorporate these new movements into our skiing where/when appropriate. $160, 12 CEUs
