ORTOVOX & HAT Virtual Tour: Talks and Webinars 2020-21 brief overview

This video gives a glimpse at how we adapted the ORTOVOX / HAT 2020-21 Tour of events to both the unique COVID situation, and to the dangerous, (in a number of countries, tragic) winter sports season. 

By October 2020, it had become clear that I would not be unable to travel to do the ‘Tour’ in Europe. I therefore turned all efforts towards building up virtual presence. This was a real challenge, not only technically, but also because people were becoming unhappier day by day as they’d not be able to travel to ski this season, so they were not enthusiastic!

Then early December saw the start of unstable/dangerous snow conditions forming. Avalanche accidents started happening in mid/late December…. More on the accidents, the problem and a solution in my next article here on the HAT blog.
