Hirscher out for second win at Games with six golds to be decided

Pyeongchang, South Korea (dpa) - Six-time alpine skiing World Cup overall champion Marcel Hirscher is aiming for a second gold medal Sunday at the Winter Games on a day which sees medals action in six events.The Austrian won the combined event on Tuesday, and the current World Cup leader is one of the leading contenders for gold in the men‘s giant slalom.Martin Fourcade of France and Johannes Thingnes Boe of Norway are also gunning for their second biathlon golds of the Games when they compete in the men‘s 15-kilometre mass start.On another bright day in Pyeongchang, medals were also to be won in the men‘s slopestyle and men‘s aerials in freestyle skiing, the men‘s 4x10km relay in cross-country skiing, and the women‘s 500m in speed skating.
