Winter Seasonal – Full Time Job Description Physical Requirements: Must be minimum 18 years of age Ski or snowboard on varying terrain and in harsh weather conditions all day if needed Assist guests/students who have fallen Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job: Two years supervisory experience required PSIA Certification III+ and Kids Accreditation preferred Must have excellent communication skills, guest relations skills and attention to detail Must have technical knowledge of skiing and snowboarding Adhere to all safety policies General computer competency required Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers Be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards Bachelors or higher preferred, will accommodate for experience Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.: Responsible for managing the daily operation, scheduling, daily assignment and evaluation, coaching, disciplinary actions of SnowSports School Instructors Responsible for monitoring and leading on and off snow clinics Responsible for solving any customer concerns or complaints Must interact well with the public, management, and all company employees Assists the SnowSports School Training Supervisor and responsible for administration of in-house training programs and training staff; assist in clinic division and organization at all line ups Manage the close relationship between SnowSports School Ticket Office and instructors Review incidents reports and assist safety coordinator Administrate daily and weekly supervisor meetings and prepare preliminary on-snow operational budgets Administrate and organize hiring clinics Manage Steamboat Mountain Watch team Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties, as assigned Miscellaneous information: Resume and cover letter required with online application This is a salaried exempt position and is not subject to overtime pay Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check Click here for more information
