Lady Red Raiders rally for road victory

Uniontown rallied from a five-run deficit to edge Ligonier Valley, 7-6, on Thursday in non-section softball play at Ligonier Valley. The Lady Red Raiders trailed 5-0 after two innings, but scored two runs apiece in the third and fourth innings, one in the sixth and two in the seventh before holding off the Lady Rams in their final at-bat. Juliet White hit her second home run of the season when she went deep to centerfield to score the winning runs. Katie White, who reached on an error, scored for a 7-5 lead for the visitors. Ligonier Valley (0-1) had runners on first and third with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, but Emmaleigh Noah was able to close the game out with a strikeout....
