One good sign for Franklin Regional at the start of a new baseball season is the return of shortstop Luke Williams, who injured his ankle in a WPIAL 5A first-round playoff loss to Bethel Park and went through months of rehabilitation. The talented senior is healthy and ready to lead the Panthers. A Vanderbilt commit, Williams hit .345 with a 1.106 OPS, 19 RBIs, 27 runs and 27 stolen bases last spring.
