Schlossman: The NCHC may have to re-examine ticket prices next season

GRAND FORKS — It's hard to tell exactly how many tickets will be sold for UND's National Collegiate Hockey Conference semifinal game against Minnesota Duluth at 6:07 p.m. Saturday night. It is clear that the game will not sell out, though. ADVERTISEMENT Unlike the NCHC quarterfinals, this game is not included in season-ticket packages. Season-ticket holders received an opportunity to claim their seats earlier this week. The unclaimed seats were then released to the public on Wednesday. Many still remain available. There are, no doubt, a few challenges. UND is on spring break, so there are no students. Grand Forks public schools also are on spring break, so many families are out of town. But...
