Nature photographer to present at Rydell National Wildlife Refuge

Bruce Flaig remembers the day he photographed a bird catching an insect in its mouth. The bird was sitting on a post, its beak open as it caught a wasp. It’s an impressive image, but one that didn’t happen with just a couple of clicks of the button. The image was captured after a hundred or more snaps of the shutter. That typically is the rule and not the exception when it comes to nature photography. Capturing wildlife also takes a lot of patience.
