COLLEGE ROUNDUP DALY CITY, Calif. — Senior Sam Renner and freshman Dylan Boenning each fired third and final rounds of 4-below par 68 to lead Washington State men’s golf to a seventh-place team finish at the 2026 Desimone Invitational played Monday and Tuesday on the 6,915-yard Lake Merced Golf Club course. Renner’s three-round score of 10-under 206 placed him tied for third overall, three strokes out of the lead. For the tournament, Renner posted the fewest bogeys in the round (three), tied for sixth with most birdies (15), and averaged 3.90 strokes on the par 4’s (T-3) and 4.42 strokes on the par 5s (T-4).
