LITTLE FALLS — It was their only Section 8-3A loss all season and it came at the worst time. In front of a sellout home crowd, with two pep bands rocking the rafters, the top-seeded Little Falls Flyers were hit with a 55-41 loss by the No. 3-seeded Willmar Cardinals in the section final Thursday, March 5. The loss prevented this season’s Flyers from snapping a 35-year absence from the state tournament.
