College wrestling: SCC ready to wrap up historic season at national tournament

COUNCIL BLUFFS — The Southeastern Community College wrestling teams have grown accustomed to history this season. As first-year programs, the SCC men’s and women’s wrestling teams have been a part of history almost every time they step on the mat. The Blackhawks will have a chance to make a little more history this weekend as they wrap up their inaugural season at the NJCAA Wrestling Championships Friday and Saturday at the Mid-America Center. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The championship finals are set to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday.
