The Tennessee high school girls basketball statewide rankings, released on March 2, include four new teams. East Nashville (Class 2A), Heritage (Class 3A), Notre Dame (Division II-A) and Hutchison (Division II-AA) all enter the Tennessee Sports Writers Association and USA TODAY Network rankings. In Division I, each first-place vote receives 10 points, second place receives nine points and that continues to the 10th-place vote, which receives one point. First-place votes are listed in parentheses. In Division II, the first-place team receives five points and is reduced by one point for each additional place.
