Madison girls breeze past Columbian, first district win since 2005

NEW WASHINGTON - None of these girls were alive the last time Madison won a game in the district tournament. You have to go back to 2005 for that when the Rams beat Marion Harding, and even further back to 1997 for the program's last district championship. Tuesday night, Madison showed just how far it has come boasting just two winning seasons over the last two decades with an impressive 48-29 win over Tiffin Columbian in a Division III district semifinal at Buckeye Central High School.
