With the TSSAA Division II basketball state championships beginning March 5, the topic of how the postseason is formatted is always a hot topic with Nashville area coaches. The Tennessee's high school basketball coaches spoke at length about the current state of how the state tournament is organized during the girls' tournament last year. This season, programs in Region 6-4A, made up predominately of Williamson County schools, agreed to skip its district tournament in favor of starting postseason play in the region postseason.
