Rochester United blanks L’Anse Creuse Unified to reach regional finals

ST. CLAIR SHORES – With a potential regional finals tilt looming between two top 10 teams, Rochester United did its part Friday. United, ranked sixth in Division 2, skated past Macomb L’Anse Creuse Unified 4-0 in a Division 2 regional semifinals contest at the St. Clair Shores Civic Arena-Mark Wells Ice. United will play in the regional finals next Wednesday at 8 p.m. against host St. Clair Shores Unified in a rematch of last year’s regional finals.
