The Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation and Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches have announced the list of nominees for the 2026 Mr. and Miss Basketball award. Three players and from Northern Kentucky made the list. It should be noted that only seniors are eligible to be nominated. Assumption's Ashlinn James, an Indiana signee, and Sacred Heart's Brianna Wilkins, a Marshall signee, are considered the frontrunners to win Miss Basketball. The Mr. Basketball race is more wide open with Louisville St. Xavier's Jeremiah Jackson, North Laurel's Reece Davidson and Madison Central's Jake Feldhaus all in the conversation.
