CVC Girls Basketball Tournament: Notre Dame rallies in final four minutes to upset PDS

PRINCETON — One of the great things about basketball is that no matter your size, you can make an impact – even in the biggest games. Notre Dame High’s Kelsey Wood found that out Wednesday in the semifinals of the Colonial Valley Conference Tournament at top-seeded Princeton Day School. Wood, a 5-foot-4 junior guard, continually found the ball in her hands in the final minute as the fifth-seeded Irish went about erasing a five-point deficit in the final four minutes to turn the tables on the Panthers for a 43-39 victory.
