Ashland's Paxon Ediger selected as District 6 Player of the Year

WILLARD - Ashland has consistently been the top basketball program in the area all season and coaches recognized it at the District 6 meeting over the weekend. The Arrows boast the most prolific scorer in senior Paxon Ediger, and he was named player of the year in Division II/Division III. Through 21 games played, he is averaging 23.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.6 steals. Senior Gabe Baith (15.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.6 steals) joined Ediger on the first team while classmate Reed Emmons (11.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 59 made 3-pointers) was on the second team.
