Late 3-pointer by Elon hands William & Mary rare home defeat
William & Mary suffered just its second home loss of the season Saturday in 11 games at Kaplan Arena, falling 81-78 to Elon before 5,074. The Phoenix’s Bryson Cokley capped his game-long heroics by sinking a 3-pointer with just more than two seconds remaining. Cokley scored 29 points for Elon (14-13, 6-8 Coastal Athletic Association), hitting 7 of 11 3-point tries. Chandler Cuthrell had 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
