Highlights from softball teams at the LCPS spring sports media day

Las Cruces Public Schools held a spring sports media day on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Field of Dreams Baseball Complex. The event highlighted baseball, softball, track and field, powerlifting, tennis and golf teams and athletes across Las Cruces, Mayfield, Organ Mountain and Centennial ahead of the spring sports season. Athletic trainers from Las Cruces, Mayfield and Centennial were also included (Organ Mountain's trainers were unable to attend). The Las Cruces Sun-News will produce stories over the next several days that highlight athletes from all sports featured during the media day. This story will focus on softball teams.
