Washington girls basketball uses 'unfinished business' for motivation

WASHINGTON — Motivated only begins to scratch the surface of Washington's mentality this season. The top-ranked Panthers (24-1) finished in third place in Class 3A last March, ending the season just short of playing for a state championship. Now, a return trip to the state finals is on everyone's mind. "From the beginning of the season, we've had one goal in mind," Washington senior Mazzy O'Brien said, "and that's to get back to state and finish it off this year.
