The landscape of Alabama high school football is changing, but its never too early to pick state title winners for the 2026 AHSAA season. The AHSAA recently split up its public and private schools for championship play, opening up to new private-only classes while shrinking the public classes back to six. It means that some state champions are now in the same classes, headlined by Mars Hill Bible and Coosa Christian hanging out in Private-A Region 4 together.
