Lehigh Valley area team wrestling rankings days ahead of District 11 team event

The District 11 Classes 2A and 3A team tournaments are Saturday at Freedom’s Joseph J. McIntyre Gymnasium. The pairings will be announced at some point Friday because weather is forcing many rescheduled matches to later this week. The Class 2A field is set. Defending champion Saucon Valley, returning runner-up Northwestern Lehigh plus Tri-Valley, North Schuylkill, which won the team title at the Schuylkill League tournament earlier this month, and Lehighton appear to be the top five teams.
