The Canyon Oaks Women’s Golf Club held its annual Officer Installation and Awards Dinner last week at the clubhouse. Cathy Edgar was recognized as Player-of-the-Year by earning the most points throughout the year in club tournaments. Edgar earned 10,000 points and set a new record in the process. Lori Rainwater was the Most Improved Player in 2025. The most Inspirational Member Award was given to Vickie Spelts (posthumously), who along with her husband, Mark, tragically died in a plane crash last year. Her daughter, Jordan, graciously accepted the award on behalf of her mother. Those winning several significant tournaments in 2025 were also recognized. Sophia Magana was honored as the 2025...
